Cleopatra Records<\/strong>\u00a0proudly announces\u00a0\u201cBullets Ready,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0the latest release from the iconic thrash metal group,\u00a0KINGS OF THRASH<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 featuring former\u00a0Megadeth<\/strong>\u00a0bassist and co-founder\u00a0David Ellefson<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0ex-Megadeth<\/strong>\u00a0guitarist\u00a0Jeff Young<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The band\u2019s newest original song delivers a powerful vocal duet between\u00a0KINGS OF THRASH\u00a0<\/strong>vocalist\u00a0Chaz Leon<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Gabriel Connor<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 frontman of the rising Los Angeles theatrical rock group\u00a0Red Devil Vortex<\/strong>. The track also features a special guest appearance by former\u00a0Exodus<\/strong>\u00a0vocalist\u00a0Steve \u201cZetro\u201d Souza<\/strong>.\u00a0\u201cBullets Ready\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0was mixed by Grammy winning producer\u00a0Cameron Webb<\/strong>, known for his work with\u00a0Mot\u00f6rhead, Danzig<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Godsmack<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Guitarist and co-composer Jeff Young reflects on the origins of the song:<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the making of the Nick Menza film, I acquired several demo recordings of Nick playing various drum progressions. In essence, the introduction, verses & chorus of \u2018Bullets Ready\u2019 came from playing along to one of Nick\u2019s energetic grooves. During the So Far, So Good\u2026 So What! tour, it was often David, Nick & myself that would conduct the soundchecks. It was a surreal & nostalgic feeling to be playing along and writing riffs with my long, lost friend. Nick\u2019s playing inspired so much of this song and his spirit is forever encapsulated inside this recording.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
