Actor Amit Behl who worked with Akshaye Khanna in movies like Love You Hamesha and LOC: Kargil recalled an incident when the actor stood by a character actor who was insulted by the movie\u2019s producer.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In an interview with Siddharth Kana, Amit Behl recalled how during a movie\u2019s shoot, a character actor was staying a different hotel arrived at the hotel Akshaye was staying for lunch, \u201cThe moment this actor had his first bite at the hotel\u2019s lunch buffet, the producer\u2019s wife or some relative noticed that he didn\u2019t belong there and said he shouldn\u2019t be eating that food. Just as he had begun, someone from production came over and said, \u2018Sir, you can\u2019t eat this.\u2019 He was hurt and quietly kept the plate aside and sat by himself.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

He further revealed that Akshaye was watching this from a distance and immediately intervened, losing his cool, \u201cAkshaye, who usually speaks very little, gave a speech about what hunger truly means and what respect truly means. That day, I realised how intense and thoughtful he is towards his fellow artists.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

He continued stating that Akshaye Khanna scolded everyone involved including producer and crew members, \u201cHe said, \u2018A film doesn\u2019t get made by the number of plates or how much food you have; it is made by the blessings of people.\u2019 It really looked like a man who hardly speaks had finally unleashed the volcano within him.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On the work front, Akshaye Khanna will next be seen in the Netflix movie <\/span>Ikka<\/a>co-starring <\/span>Sunny Deol<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
