At face value, this seems like a light week for new music. On the flip side, the music that did drop, will certainly hold us over til the next big drop. This week\u2019s edition of New Music Friday features standout releases from Chris Brown, 6lack, Young Nudy, and many more.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Music Friday Picks<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Chris Brown \u2013 \u2018Brown\u2019 (Album)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Historically speaking, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/remixdmagazine.com\/usher-chris-brown-raymond-joint-tour-surprise\/\">Chris Brown<\/a> has been repeating the same mistakes with his last slew of albums. However, \u2018Brown\u2019 is just another bland album with a couple of good songs. As it stands, Young Thug is easily one of 6lack\u2019s best collaborators due to their instant chemistry. From start to finish, \u201cYa Dig\u201d checks every box for a trap anthem. Taking this further, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/remixdmagazine.com\/teyana-taylor-unveils-rose-in-harlem-jordan-1-sneakers\/\">Teyana Taylor<\/a> creatively rehashed an Aaliyah classic with \u201cBed of Roses.\u201d Looking ahead, this track perfectly served its purpose in making me crave a full remix album from her. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p> <iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Bed of Roses (with Wale)\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/track\/1M7szG4sXLIcacdsYNJ9OW?si=kWAxoyEbTkaclM9HC2DgHg&amp;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p><strong>Naomi Sharon \u2013 \u2018Better Days\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At present, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/naomisharon?igsh=Y21mM3NtZml0MTF4\">Naomi Sharon<\/a> is easily one of the R&amp;B rising stars you need to familiarise yourself with. Overall speaking, \u201cBetter Days\u201d perfectly encapsulates the peaceful vibe she brings to every track. Sadly, \u201cGO\u201d falls short of his full potential, as Glock plays it too safe. Revisiting his past work, it\u2019s glaring that he\u2019s at his best when he gets more creative with his wordplay.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Key Glock - GO (Official Music Video)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IB1_qKO1SZU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p><strong>Action Bronson \u2013 \u2018PLANET FROG\u2019 (Album)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On closer inspection, middle-aged rappers are in the midst of a renaissance with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bambambaklava?igsh=MW9iZGV2a3o2azBvMQ==\">Action<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bambambaklava?igsh=MW9iZGV2a3o2azBvMQ==\">Bronson<\/a> leading the charge. Picking up where he last left off, he finds more ways to reinvent himself with some of the most unorthodox instrumentals yet. Without hesitation, I\u2019d easily say this is one of his best works, based on the sheer highs he\u2019s able to reach. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"jeg_video_container jeg_video_content\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Action Bronson - PEPPERS (ft.
