The “cursed” mansion where Sharon Tate was murdered back in 1969 is back on the market – but this time as a rental property.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Full House producer Jeff Franklin has abandoned his attempts at selling the lavish property and is now hoping to find tenants for the sprawling Los Angeles<\/a> estate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The 21,000-square-foot Andalusian-style palace, Villa Andalusia, is situated on 3.6 acres in Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The property was last listed for sale at $50 million, according to Realtor.com.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Franklin, who now lives in Miami, has marketed the residence for lease bragging about the \u201cbreathtaking views,\u201d \u201clush tropical landscaping,\u201d and calling it a \u201cmasterpiece property fit for royalty.\u201d However, the listing does not mention that it is situated on the site where a brutal mass murder took place in the early hours of August 9, 1969.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

At the time a horrifying scene unfolded when Charles Manson\u2019s cult entered the house that was on the site and murdered actress Sharon Tate. The star was eight-and-a-half months pregnant at the time, and was killed alongside celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring, coffee heiress Abigail Folger, writer Wojciech Frykowski, and Steven Parent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Manson’s followers had embarked upon a two-night killing spree where they also murdered supermarket executive Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary, in a horrifying attack where 169 stab wounds and multiple gunshot injuries were inflicted to the victims.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The original home that stood on the site was demolished and Franklin purchased the land for $6 million, before hiring famed Hollywood architect Richard Landry to design him a new estate. The residence was completed in 2006 and Franklin lived there for almost two decades.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He appeared to be unfazed by the history of the land. Franklin previously told the Wall Street Journal, \u201cI wanted to incorporate all the influences that I love from various cultures around the world. There\u2019s a lot of California<\/a> Casual, and then we add SeaWorld.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He then told the publication that the connection to Manson and the murders was \u201cirrelevant\u201d and \u201cancient history,\u201d and that it had \u201cabsolutely no impact on my life whatsoever.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The property boasts nine-bedrooms, 18-bathrooms, a 75-yard pool which is connected by a lazy river to a second infinity pool, which features six waterfalls, two hot tubs, and a 35-foot waterslide flowing between them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The residence also features a swim-up bar, koi pond, firepit and private grotto on the outsider. Meanwhile, inside there is a home theater, poker room, billiards room, hair salon, multiple bars, a spa, a gym, and six aquariums, including a shark tank which is situated in the dining room.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
