The Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em><\/a> alum Jennifer Fessler<\/strong> has offered an unexpected apology over an Instagram post in which she denied hooking up with Summer House<\/em><\/a>\u2019s West Wilson<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry!!!!!! I admit it,\u201d Jenn, 57, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Saturday, May 9, before clarifying, \u201cI used the wrong font.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, Jenn released a strongly-worded denial<\/a> over speculation about her relationship with West, 31, following his girlfriend Ciara Miller<\/strong> claiming that the two hooked up in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn all seriousness, and while I can\u2019t help but be a little flattered, it is not nice nor is it OK to post something categorically untrue and defamatory on social media,\u201d , wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, May 9. \u201cRegardless of whatever rumors or apparent \u2018evidence\u2019 led you to that conclusion, that is the definition of libel.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cIf it were true, I would have no recourse. Because it\u2019s a lie, this can get more complicated. Having said that, I hope we can rectify this. It\u2019s enough now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aside from the content of the post, Bravo fans were annoyed about the cursive-style font that Jenn used for the message and apparently let her know about it.<\/p>\n

The former Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em> star unexpectedly ended up in the middle of the drama<\/a> over West\u2019s newfound relationship with Summer House<\/em> costar Amanda Batula<\/strong> earlier this week. Jenn initially responded to Ciara\u2019s accusation with a light-hearted statement to Page Six<\/em> on Friday, May 8, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s flattering that anyone would think someone who slept with Ciara Miller would be interested in sleeping with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

West also tried to brush off the drama<\/a> with an Instagram Story where he said the hookup rumors were \u201cnews to me.\u201d A source close to West exclusively told Us Weekly that<\/em> Ciara\u2019s allegation was \u201cabsolutely not true,\u201d dismissing it as \u201csuch a silly accusation.\u201d<\/p>\n
