JOHOR BARU, May 10 \u2014 Police have confirmed that a man was killed and another injured in a shooting outside an entertainment outlet in Skudai late Saturday night.<\/p>\n
Iskandar Puteri district police chief ACP M. Kumarasan said the incident took place at Taman Industri Jaya around 11pm and involved a local woman, aged 27, believed to be the shooter.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cOne local male victim, aged 27, died at the scene, while another man of the same age sustained injuries after being shot,\u201d he said in a statement today.<\/p>\n
He added that a third victim is also believed to have been injured but has yet to be identified, as he was taken away by acquaintances immediately after the incident. The individual is urged to come forward to assist investigations.<\/p>\n
Police are also tracking two suspects who remain at large.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, which carries the death penalty or imprisonment of between 30 and 40 years, along with not fewer than 12 strokes of the cane, upon conviction.<\/p>\n
