On Friday (May 8), Phoebe Bridgers<\/a> performed her first live solo show in three years at the Liberty, a 400-capacity theater in Roswell, New Mexico. During the invite-only, no-phones-allowed performance, Bridgers reportedly played favorites like \u201cMotion Sickness,\u201d \u201cKyoto,\u201d and \u201cGarden Song<\/a>,\u201d as well as multiple new songs and a video short previewing her forthcoming (but TBA) third album. Check out a full set list below.<\/p>\n Bridgers, who reportedly noted to the crowd that the small-scale show was a \u201ctest\u201d for upcoming performances, was joined onstage by frequent collaborator Christian Lee Hutson<\/a>, who accompanied on guitar, harmonica, harmonies, and percussion. One of the new songs Bridgers premiered allegedly addressed<\/a> the 2023 death of her father. On May 9, flyers for another Bridgers show reportedly popped up<\/a> in Lubbock, Texas, the same day a series of photos<\/a> depicting Bridgers in the studio with Matty Healy, Alex G, Jack Antonoff, and her partner, Bo Burnham, presumably at work on her new record. Pitchfork has reached out to Bridgers\u2019 team for comment.<\/p>\n Each attendee at the show received a small piece of a painting in the lockable pouches phones were kept in; some fans have speculated that together, the fragments reveal Bridgers\u2019 next album cover. New merch available at the performance also appeared to display rumored lyrics from a new song: \u201cNow I can’t see any stars in the sky. When a dreams comes true, a fantasy dies\u2026but we\u2019re gonna be alright, me and you.\u201d<\/p>\n Bridgers released her most recent album, Punisher<\/em><\/a>, in 2020, and her most recent new song, \u201cSidelines<\/a>,\u201d in 2022 as part of the soundtrack to the Hulu series Conversations With Friends<\/em>. Since then, she\u2019s collaborated with Rob Moose<\/a>, the National<\/a>, Arlo Parks<\/a>, SZA<\/a>, Andrew Bird<\/a>, and more. She has also remained active as a member of boygenius<\/a>, her supergroup with Julien Baker<\/a> and\u00a0Lucy Dacus<\/a>; in 2024, the trio won<\/a> three<\/a> Grammys<\/a> for their debut album The Record<\/em><\/a>. Her debut solo album, Stranger in the Alps<\/em><\/a>, arrived in 2017.<\/p>\n
