Erika Kirk sent bold advice to new college graduates this weekend.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, May 9, the CEO of Turning Point USA, 37, delivered the 2026 commencement address at Hillsdale College in Michigan<\/a>. During her speech, she reminded many of her Christian<\/a> beliefs as she called on the graduates to know their \u201ccalling\u201d before they step into a new chapter of their lives.<\/p>\n In the midst of her address, which has now gone viral for the \u201csleeping\u201d celebrity who stood right behind her<\/a>, she said, \u201cCharlie would often encourage people, like Dr. [Larry] Arnn said, to get married young,\u201d clarifying, \u201cNot rushed, not rushed, but young.\u201d<\/p>\n She then sent some words of \u201cencouragement\u201d to the group, beginning, \u201cTo the men, you are called to provide. You are called to lead, to anchor your families in strength and consistency.<\/p>\n Moving on to the ladies, she said, \u201cTo the women, you are called to nurture, to build, to shape lives with wisdom and endurance.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Her message received mixed reviews from viewers, with one fan on X writing, \u201cWhat a beautiful speech from an even more beautiful woman!!\u201d<\/p>\n Another added, \u201cSuch a heartfelt call to build real families in a world that\u2019s forgotten how. Strength in love, purpose in raising the next generation we all win when homes thrive. Beautiful speech, Erika.\u201d<\/p>\n While many praised the CEO for her first speech, others found it to be a \u201clack of self-awareness.\u201d<\/p>\n One critic wrote, \u201cHow dare this woman tell the students what they\u2019re called to do. Literally how dare you Erica? You don\u2019t tell men they were called to lead. You don\u2019t know that.
