Lorenzo Lamas <\/b><\/a>and Heather Locklear<\/b><\/a>\u2019s blossoming romance clearly already has the approval of their blended family.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeautiful Heather, I adore you. The generous, loving, gracious energy you have makes you a very rare woman,\u201d Lorenzo\u2019s daughter Shayne Lamas <\/b><\/a>wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Sunday, May 10. \u201cWatching your relationship with my dad genuinely makes me believe [that] one\u2019s true love will be one\u2019s lasting love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lorenzo, 68, and Locklear, 64, confirmed last month<\/span><\/a> that they were dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you know how appreciated and loved you are by myself and my children,\u201d Shayne, one of Lorenzo\u2019s six children, added on Sunday. \u201cSending you \ud83e\udd0d<\/span>. Your daughter is so very lucky to have this day to share with you. Mines in heaven and I know she loves this for you both as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair met at a REO Speedwagon concert and tied the knot in 1986. Although the Melrose Place alum told People after their nuptials that she\u2019d \u201conly thought of getting married once\u201d and had [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Locklear, who shares 28-year-old daughter Ava with ex-husband Richie Sambora<\/b><\/a>, was grateful for Shayne\u2019s kind words.<\/p>\n

Ever since Locklear and Lorenzo made their public debut as a couple in April, they\u2019ve sung each other\u2019s praises.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been through a lot of trial and error, and she is the most amazing woman that I think I\u2019ve ever met,\u201d he told Fox News Digital<\/span><\/a> on April 29, gushing about the Melrose Place <\/i>alum and citing his faith for keeping him grounded. \u201cWith Jesus Christ in your life, you can accomplish anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added at the time, \u201cThere\u2019s no problem or event or anything that can compare to the strength that you feel when you know you\u2019re following Christ\u2026 even in the darkest of times, we always have the Lord to lean on. I\u2019ve always believed that. My mom believed that. She shared that with me as a kid, and it\u2019s kind of how I try to live my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lorenzo and Locklear\u2019s history goes way back, meeting on the set of a joint Playgirl <\/i>photoshoot in the 1980s.<\/p>\n
