Former soap star Ryan Thomas has revealed the last message he received from TV star Jake Hall, after his sudden death aged 35.<\/p>\n
The actor, 41, is among the stars who have taken to social media to pay tribute to the The Only Way Is Essex (Towie) cast member, who he described as always the \u201ccoolest guy in the room\u201d.<\/p>\n
The message was shared to his 1.3 million Instagram followers along with a black and white video compilation of himself with the TV star.<\/p>\n
It comes after Hall was found dead on Wednesday at a holiday villa in Majorca.<\/p>\n
The former Coronation Street star wrote: \u201cThe moment I met Jake, I was in awe of him. I found myself gravitating towards him.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was always the coolest guy in the room, he had class, charisma, this magic about him that nobody else had. Anyone who met him, even once, remembered him forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
Thomas told of how he used to call Hall \u201cnearly every day\u201d to remind him \u201chow special he was and how much happiness he brought people\u201d.<\/p>\n
He also recalled how it \u201ctook a while\u201d for the pair to become friends, but once they were they became inseparable, adding: \u201cThe deep chats, the hysterical laughs even the petty fallouts \u2014 we shared it all.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had the same morals, the same family values, and the same outlook on life: we genuinely wanted people around us to win.\u201d<\/p>\n
Thomas joked that Hall would tell him to \u201cshut up\u201d if he could read the lengthy tribute, and continued: \u201cFor all the people that admired his talent, what mattered most to him was always his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe idolised his dad, adored his mum, and loved his little brother more than words could ever explain.\u201d<\/p>\n
Referring to the TV star\u2019s eight-year-old daughter River, he added: \u201cHis next chapter is written in the stars now and it\u2019s all about River. I promise she\u2019ll grow up surrounded by love and stories about how inspiring and powerful her daddy is.\u201d<\/p>\n
Thomas concluded the post by revealing the last text he received from Hall, and said he was sending the message back.<\/p>\n
It read: \u201cI love you mate. More than you\u2019ll ever know.\u201d<\/p>\n
Reality TV star Hall joined the cast of Towie in 2015 and dated co-star Chloe Lewis before quitting in 2024, and ran a menswear brand called By Jake Hall.<\/p>\n
Tributes have poured in for Hall over the last few days, and the mother of his child posted a message to Instagram on Saturday saying that her and her daughter\u2019s hearts were \u201cshattered\u201d.<\/p>\n
Albanian model Misse Beqiri shared photos of herself, Hall and their daughter together and said that the influx of messages following his death is \u201cboth heartbreaking and beautiful all at once\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Real Housewives of Cheshire star also told of how she loved Hall from \u201cthe very first moment I saw you\u201d, and said: \u201cYou left behind your mini version, our River, and for that we are forever grateful. You will always live on through her, and you will forever be with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Other celebrities to pay tribute include Hall\u2019s friend and former Towie co-star Vas J Morgan who wrote on Instagram that his death was a \u201cdeeply difficult loss\u201d and that he wishes they had more time together.<\/p>\n
Former Made In Chelsea star Akin Solanke also posted a photo with Hall on Instagram and wrote: \u201cIf I never told you how much you inspired me, I hope you knew regardless.\u201d<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, celebrity DJ Fat Tony shared a tribute to social media and said: \u201cDevastating news we love you @jakehall such an awful loss to the world you beautiful man x.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
