Sandra Bullock<\/strong><\/a> offered a rare look at her two children while celebrating Mother\u2019s Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cTo all the mamas, No matter how you came to be, Happy Mother\u2019s Day,\u201d Bullock, 61, captioned an Instagram post<\/a> on Sunday, May 10. \u201cWe are all bound by this honor of a lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress shared a throwback photo with kids Louis, now 16, and Laila, now 11, whom she adopted when they were babies.<\/p>\n \u201cMom and Omi, thank you for teaching me. We miss you,\u201d Bullock concluded her caption, shouting out her own family. \u201cSorry I was such a brat.\u201d<\/p>\n Sunday\u2019s tribute honoring her children and other family members was the actress\u2019 fifth Instagram post since she joined the social media platform last month.<\/p>\n Bullock often keeps her personal life out of the public eye, most recently detailing her journey to motherhood<\/a> during an episode of \u201cRed Table Talk\u201d in 2022.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know why that was the only route, but I\u2019m so glad the universe had me wait,\u201d she said of adopting her two kids. \u201cHad me wait even though I was anxious and I was eager \u2014 and it went, \u2018Nope, you\u2019re not going to do it the way you think you\u2019re going to do it.’\u201d<\/p>\n During the same interview, Bullock shared the biggest worry she has when it comes to raising Louis.<\/p>\n \u201cWith Lou being a young Black man, at one point, sweet, funny Lou is gonna be a young man,\u201d Bullock explained. \u201cAnd the minute he leaves my home, I can\u2019t follow him everywhere, though I will try \u2026 I pray and pray and pray that I have done a good enough job.\u201d<\/p>\n Bullock adopted son Louis in 2010, adding Laila into the family in 2015.<\/p>\n \u201c[Hurricane] Katrina happened in New Orleans, and I knew \u2014 just something told me that my child was there. It was weird,\u201d Bullock said on Today in 2018, discussing her decision to adopt Louis. \u201cHe\u2019s just perfect, I can\u2019t even describe him any other way. It\u2019s like he\u2019s always been a part of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n Bullock felt similarly about deciding to adopt her daughter.<\/a><\/p>\n
