The Palace released a statement earlier this month saying Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are \u201cvery pleased\u201d with the news and that the King is \u201cdelighted\u201d. It clarified that the new royal baby is due to arrive “in the summer” and that Eugenie’s sons, Ernest and August, are “very excited” about the new addition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The statement read: \u201cHer Royal Highness Princess Eugenie<\/a> and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cAugust (aged five) and Ernest (aged two) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family. His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It came after Eugenie\u2019s parents were exiled from public life due to their links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Now, a royal expert said that Eugenie is focusing on her own life and family and that her parents\u2019 scandal has likely brought her and her husband closer together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Royal commentator Jennie Bond told the Mirror<\/a>: \u201cI think the new baby suggests that Eugenie and her husband, Jack, are hunkering down together and getting on with nurturing and expanding their family unit \u2014 in spite of all the surrounding noise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhen a crisis like this happens, it can make or break a couple, and it looks very much as if Eugenie and Jack have been brought even closer together.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ms Bond added that despite Andrew and Fergie\u2019s humiliation, the duo are undoubtedly thrilled about their new grandchild.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She said: \u201cI\u2019m sure both Andrew and Sarah will share their daughter\u2019s joy. Although the state of their relationship with both Eugenie and Beatrice remains unknown.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to sources, Eugenie \u201chas not been in touch\u201d with her father since his recent fall from grace.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She told her mother, Fergie, first, but allegedly did not break the news to her father.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
