The video, one of many celebrity workout videos in the mid-to-late 80s, was designed to get teens moving.<\/p>\n The video was designed to look like it was a workout session between the actress and friends in her own bedroom. The blurb on the back reads in part, “Like any teenager, I’ve got lots of energy. And sometimes things that happen in my life make me restless. I need to move and let off the steam that builds up inside. So I put together a dance and workout routine that helps me cool out, keep my body fit, and head straight. I call it Teen Steam<\/em>.”<\/p>\n
