Celia Imrie\u2019s infamous <\/a>Celebrity Traitors <\/a>moment<\/a> became the surprise talking point of Sunday\u2019s TV Baftas, with the incident being mentioned by host Greg Davies, comedian Alan Carr and even a bemused Seth Rogen.<\/p>\n

The mega-hit BBC show was up for three awards at the annual bash<\/a>, but as Inbetweeners star Davies lightheartedly noted, Imrie\u2019s hilarious moment, when she broke wind during one of the challenges, was not up for an award.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was a little surprised there\u2019s one thing that wasn\u2019t nominated for TV moment of the year,\u201d the comic joked. \u201cAnd Celia, you can relax. I\u2019m not talking about you. Relax. I mean, I say relax, but not too much obviously.\u201d The cameras then cut to Imrie, who was cracking up in the crowd.<\/p>\n

The moment Davies had wanted to see recognition for was Mark \u201cThe Beast\u201d Labbett\u2019s appearance on Celebs Go Dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe man tried to drink a candle, you understand?\u201d Davies said. \u201cWhy aren\u2019t we celebrating that?\u201d<\/p>\n

Imrie later appeared on stage to present an award alongside her Traitors co-star Nick Mohammed, making her own joke about flatulence.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust before The Celebrity Traitors was aired, I received a present in the shape of a brown paper parcel,\u201d she said. \u201cInside was a lovely red satin box tied up with a velvet ribbon. It was the shape of a can and it had a turquoise label and black writing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t understand the relevance, then I looked again and it was a tin of baked beans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Imrie\u2019s fart also got a mention later in the ceremony, as Seth Rogen won the International prize for his satirical comedy The Studio.<\/p>\n

Addressing the star, the baffled US actor said: \u201cI assume this woman in the green dress is a very skilled and talented woman\u2026 all I know is that she farted on a reality show.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m interested in your other work now,\u201d Rogen added, as the audience howled with laughter. \u201cWhat else have you done?\u201d<\/p>\n

Celebrity Traitors winner Carr also spoke about what is fast becoming the most famous fart on TV, as he accepted his award for Most Memorable Moment, aka winning the reality show.<\/p>\n

Imrie managed to outlast most of her fellow Traitors contestants in the inaugural celebrity series, before being brutally murdered by the two remaining Traitors \u2013 Cat Burns and Carr \u2013 in the penultimate episode.<\/p>\n

It was in the third episode that Imrie really cemented her national treasure status, though, by stealing the show when she farted during the tense build-up to one of the challenges<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat just happened?\u201d presenter Winkleman said. \u201cI just farted, Claudia. It\u2019s nerves, but I always own up,\u201d Imrie replied, sparking belly laughs from her fellow players. \u201cI always own up too,\u201d added a delighted Winkleman.<\/p>\n

The Celebrity Traitors won two accolades at Sunday\u2019s ceremony: Best Reality and Most Memorable TV Moment for Carr\u2019s shock win.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
