Survivor<\/em><\/a> host Jeff Probst<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s younger brother Scott Probst<\/strong> has died.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome sad news, our brother Scott is no longer with us,\u201d Brent Probst<\/strong> wrote via Instagram on Monday, May 11. \u201cHe was a great brother, son and friend. I will miss him so much \u2764\ufe0f I\u2019m so sad he is gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the comments section, Survivor<\/em> alumni shared their condolences to Brent and the rest of the Probst family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so terribly sorry Brent. Sending love to you and your whole family,\u201d Adam Klein<\/strong> wrote, while Kendra McQuarrie<\/strong> added, \u201cSo so sorry for your loss\ud83e\ude75 sending lots of love to the family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSurvivor fans are used to seeing contestants squirm under the sun during challenges, but on the latest episode of the CBS reality competition, it was host Jeff Probst who looked like he was ready to pass out. During the Wednesday, October 29, episode of Survivor season 49, Probst doubled over in physical discomfort after the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Teeny Chirichillo<\/strong> also commented, \u201cThinking of you and your family. I\u2019m so sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

A cause of death was not publicly shared at the time of publication, and Jeff has not publicly commented on his brother\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Jeff, the oldest of three brothers, collaborated with Scott on Survivor<\/em>, with the youngest sibling serving as an art assistant from 2006 to 2008 and as a cameraman from 2011 to 2012, per his IMDb page.<\/p>\n

Jeff, for his part, has been the host of Survivor<\/em> since the 2000 premiere. The show is currently celebrating its 50th season<\/a>, with fan-favorites like Mike White, Cirie Fields, Ozzy<\/strong> Lusth, Savannah Louie <\/strong>and Dee Valladares<\/strong> trying their hand at another shot at the title of Survivor.<\/p>\n
