The two filed a joint petition last week in court for legal separation, two years after they announced they were splitting up<\/a> and issued a joint statement.<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/em><\/a> is reporting the actor and Vanessa are looking to legally separate and not divorce as of yet; they will be doing the filing together, which suggests they will plan, or have already worked out, the division of assets, spousal support and attorney fees.<\/p>\n
