Diane Keaton<\/a>\u2018s daughter, Dexter \u201cDexie\u201d White, shared a touching tribute to her late mom on her first Mother\u2019s Day since the iconic actress\u2019s death in October 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, May 10, White, 30, took to Instagram<\/a> with a throwback photo of Keaton posing on a beach with her young daughter, whom Keaton adopted in 1996 when she was 50.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst Mother\u2019s Day without you,\u201d the bereaved daughter began the update. \u201cI miss you more than words can say.\u201d White added, \u201cMissing her voice, her hugs, her presence, and everything that made her home I love you, Mom \"🤍\".\u201d<\/p>\n

Two other snapshots showed Keaton hugging White on her wedding day and the doting mother kissing her daughter on the cheek.<\/p>\n

In the comments, White\u2019s followers joined her in honoring Keaton and sharing their condolences. Sabrina the Teenage Witch<\/em><\/a> actress Caroline Rhea<\/a> wrote, \u201cSending you lots of love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another Instagram user shared, \u201cHang in there, Dexter\u2026happy heavenly Mother\u2019s Day to your beautiful mom. Big hugs to you and the family!\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user commented,\u201dThe entire world misses your beautiful, special Mom \"❤\".\u201d<\/p>\n

On October 11, Keaton \u2014 who was known for her iconic roles in Something\u2019s Gotta Give<\/a><\/em>, The Family Stone<\/a><\/em>, Annie Hall<\/a><\/em>, The Godfather<\/em><\/a> trilogy, Father of the Bride<\/em>,<\/a> The First Wives Club<\/em><\/a>, and more \u2014<\/span><\/em><\/em> died of pneumonia at 79.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Keaton family are very grateful for the extraordinary messages of love and support they have received these past few days on behalf of their beloved Diane,\u201d a statement from her family read, per People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The message continued, \u201cShe loved her animals, and she was steadfast in her support of the unhoused community, so any donations in her memory to a local food bank or an animal shelter would be a wonderful and much appreciated tribute to her.\u201d<\/p>\n
