Coleen Nolan has opened up about her bittersweet experience on Celebs Go Dating<\/a> – and what she really thinks of her co-stars. The 61-year-old signed up to the show in the hope of finding love again following two failed marriages and the end of her last known public relationship in 2023.<\/p>\n

While agents Paul C Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn did their best to help her find a match, the Loose Women<\/a> star admitted she ultimately left the show single.<\/p>\n

Despite that, she had nothing but praise for both the agents and her fellow cast members – although she jokingly branded the show’s narrator, Rob Beckett, “vicious”.<\/p>\n

Speaking to her son Shane and daughter Ciara on their Nolans Uncensored podcast, she said of the experience: “I’ve got to say, I’ve never had so much fun doing a TV show as I have on Celebs Go Dating.<\/p>\n

“It’s been one of the best jobs I’ve ever done because we’ve laughed and everyone has been amazing. This isn’t me being showbiz, you’d know I’d go, ‘There’s one that’s a d**k’. There isn’t, there isn’t one k**b in it.”<\/p>\n

Coleen went on to describe the series as “one of the hardest” she has worked on because of the gruelling 14 to 15-hour filming days, though still had “the best time” with her co-stars.<\/p>\n

“Unfortunately, the dating side of it has been an absolute disaster for me,” she added.<\/p>\n

In response, her son joked: “I can’t wait for Rob Beckett to take the p**s out of you,” to which she replied: “Ah, I can’t. He does the narration over it and he’s vicious. But yeah [with the dating], it’s just not happened for me.<\/p>\n

“And then the one time when I thought, ‘Oh I had a great date’, he got rid of me. I think we both knew it was a friendship thing.<\/p>\n

“But here’s my issue, every date they’ve got me is [from] Essex, I live in bl***y Staffordshire. It’s just too far, so that’s been an issue but there’s just no one with that [romantic spark].”<\/p>\n

Praising the show\u2019s experts, she concluded: “But the agents, the therapy has been absolutely brilliant and I think from the start to the end, I’ve massively changed.”<\/p>\n

While promoting the show, Coleen revealed that her love life has been “non-existent” since splitting from her last known partner, Michael Jones, in 2023.<\/p>\n

She has tied the knot twice – first to Shane Richie from 1990 to 1999, and later to Ray Fensome, whom she was married to for 11 years between 2007 and 2018.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on life since her most recent breakup, she added: “I’ve been out on a few dates as far as dating apps, and they’ve been lovely. And actually, I’ve stayed friends with them. That’s my issue. I stay friends with everyone. I’m definitely not looking for another friend. So yeah, it’s not been bad.<\/p>\n

“The thing is, I’m not desperate. I’m not, “Oh, my God. I’ve got to meet someone.” Would I like to meet someone? Absolutely. That would be lovely.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
