Described as a dramatic odyssey with comedic undertones, the film is a raw, soulful portrait of ambition, identity, and the cost of chasing what you love.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \n\tAngel City<\/em> is an adaptation of Braham\u2019s short film Watchtower<\/em>, which received two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Special Class Film and Outstanding Special Class Directing. The film draws from Braham\u2019s own experience sleeping in hostels and out of his car when he first moved to Los Angeles in 2013.
