The plays \u201cKay\u0131k D\u00fcnya\u201d on May 14, \u201cHayat\u0131 Hik\u00e2ye Olan Adam Sait Faik\u201d on May 15, \u201cLysistrata\u201d on May 15\u201316 and \u201c\u015eimdi Telefonunuza Bir Kod Gelecek\u201d on May 17 will also be staged at AKM.<\/p>\n<p>At Zorlu PSM, theatre lovers will meet the plays \u201cAmadeus,\u201d \u201cToz\u201d and \u201cBayanlar Baylar Dario Moreno: Bir Gazino Hikayesi\u201d on Monday. &#8220;Ball\u0131 S\u00fct,&#8221; &#8220;Bir Terenn\u00fcm&#8221; and \u201cDon Quixote\u201d will be staged Tuesday, while \u201cPalamut Zaman\u0131\u201d will be on stage on May 13 and \u201cEzop Masallar\u0131\u201d and \u201c\u00d6teki\u201d on May 17.<\/p>\n<p>The plays \u201cBaba\u201d will be staged at Maximum Uniq Hall on Monday and Tuesday, followed by \u201cAyd\u0131nl\u0131kevler\u201d on May 13.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cG\u0131rg\u0131riye Musical\u201d can be watched on May 17 at the Harbiye Auditorium of the Istanbul Congress Center.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201c40th Young Days\u201d (&#8220;Gen\u00e7 G\u00fcnler&#8221;), organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters, has begun. The event, where theater productions of university performing arts departments and theater clubs will be staged, will also host talks and workshops until May 19.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the event, 22 performing arts departments, 36 university theater club productions, three in-house productions, four talks and five workshops will meet audiences.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Concerts<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>U.S. composer, singer and songwriter John Maus will meet audiences Tuesday while Swiss musician Fabienne Erni will meet listeners on May 13 at Blind Istanbul.<\/p>\n<p>The CRR Symphony Orchestra will perform Tuesday at the S\u00fcleyman Seba Culture and Art Center.<\/p>\n<p>At the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air theater, Edis will perform today. The venue will also host the Epic Symphony-Hayko Cepkin Tuesday, Ebru Ya\u015far on May 14, Mor ve \u00d6tesi on May 15 and Nazan \u00d6ncel on May 17.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Serdar Orta\u00e7 will meet his fans at the Istanbul Congress Center Harbiye Auditorium and Sertab Erener will meet her\u2019s at K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck\u00c7iftlik Park on May 16.<\/p>\n<p>Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut will perform at K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck\u00c7iftlik Park and Rana T\u00fcrky\u0131lmaz will be on stage at The Wall Saloon &amp; Performance on May 15.<\/p>\n<p>Bostanc\u0131 Show Center will host An Epic Symphony-Sibel Can on May 15, Ersay \u00dcner on May 16 and An Epic Symphony-Mustafa Sandal on May 17.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Exhibitions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysabah.com\/turkiye\/istanbul\/world-decolonization-forum-starts-in-istanbul-with-exhibition\">\u201cThe Burden of Humanity: Decolonization Today\u201d<\/a> exhibition, which explores the invisible mechanisms of colonialism from past to present through an immersive installation, has opened at the AKM Art Gallery. Curated by Hasan Mert Kaya, the exhibition is presented as part of the first World Decolonization Forum 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGaza Letters\u201d exhibition, prepared with the support of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Directorate of Communications and the Ok\u00e7ular Foundation, can be visited at \u00dcsk\u00fcdar Square.<\/p>\n<p>The retrospective exhibition \u201cPerde,\u201d bringing together over thirty years of artistic production by H\u00fclya Yaz\u0131c\u0131, meets art lovers at the Dolmabah\u00e7e Painting Museum, H\u00fcseyin Zekai Pa\u015fa Exhibition Hall. The exhibition will be open until May 31.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201c\u00c7izgilerle \u0130rfan ve \u0130drak\u201d exhibition, prepared in cooperation with Esenler Municipality and the Union of World Cartoonists (UWC), can be seen at Dr. Kadir Topba\u015f Culture and Arts Center until May 24.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition \u201cImages Inside Out \u2013 Look Carefully at Art\u201d (&#8220;Ters Y\u00fcz \u0130mgeler-Sanata \u0130yi Bak\u0131n&#8221;) by Devrim Erbil and Ak\u0131n Ekici meets art lovers at Galeri Deniz until May 17.<\/p>\n<p>Painter Mustafa Bayar\u2019s 25th solo oil painting exhibition \u201cFabric Carries Memory\u201d (Kuma\u015f Haf\u0131zay\u0131 Ta\u015f\u0131r) is open to art lovers at Tar\u0131k Zafer Tunaya Cultural Center Art Gallery until May 16.<\/p>\n<p>Architect and painter Filiz Ural\u2019s painting exhibition \u201cReflections Projected from Notes to My Canvas\u201d (Notalardan Tuvalime Yans\u0131yan \u0130z D\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmler) can be visited at Doku Art Gallery until May 23.<\/p>\n<p>Me\u015fher and the Sadberk Han\u0131m Museum (SHM) are presenting the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysabah.com\/arts\/events\/art-of-travel-exhibition-explores-ottoman-travel-through-rare-works\">\u201cArt of Travel\u201d<\/a> exhibition to art lovers as part of Ko\u00e7 Group\u2019s 100th anniversary.
