Born in Indiana, Steinway Artist Ratinov began his musical journey at the age of 4. His first teacher was his grandmother, Edit Ratinova, who taught at Moscow\u2019s renowned Gnessin Music School for 45 years before emigrating to the United States. Ratinov graduated from The Juilliard School and Yale School of Music. Winner of the third prize at the 2024 Concours Musical International de Montr\u00e9al and second prize at the National United States Chopin Competition, he earned acclaim at the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Other honors include second prize at the Busoni International Piano Competition, first prize at the Ricard Vi\u00f1es International Piano Competition, second prize and Audience Favorite at the Val\u00e8ncia Iturbi International Piano Competition, and second prize at the Olga Kern International Piano Competition.
