Dylan Dreyer<\/strong> just revealed a secret celebrity relative\u2014and it’s not who fans may expect.<\/p>\n During the Tuesday, May 12 episode of the Today<\/em> show, Dreyer interviewed Alix Earle<\/strong><\/a> and explained to cohosts Al Roker<\/strong><\/a> and Craig Melvin<\/strong><\/a> that she and the social media influencer are second cousins.<\/p>\n “Growing up, your dad is like one of seven. You have lots of brothers and sisters,” Dreyer told Earle of her dad, Thomas “TJ” Earle<\/strong>, who is Dylan’s first cousin. “You have a million cousins. And I was not very good at it, so I quit,” Earle said with a laugh. “But I always wanted to be just like you.”<\/p>\n Despite their family connection, the pair actually met for the first time recently after their careers caused them to cross paths.<\/p>\n “Funny enough, Alix and I hadn’t really met until the Kentucky Derby<\/a> a couple years ago, for the first time,” Dreyer said.<\/p>\n “This is so cool getting to sit here and do this with you,” Earle added of their time together on Today<\/em>, adding it was “such a special day.”<\/p>\n RELATED: <\/strong>Alex Cooper Calls Out Alix Earle in New Video: \u2018I Know What Happened, and So Do You<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Ironically enough, this is not the first time a Today<\/em> host has discovered a surprising celebrity relative.
