As reported by GB News<\/a>, the monarch had this chat with Virginia Cavill, who was in a wheelchair after a fall left her with a broken ankle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

King Charles made a comment about ageing, saying: \u201cThis is the trouble as you get older, I know it’s going to happen to me.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When asked about his own health, the monarch said in an honest five-word reply: “I’m OK, I totter along.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This comment is telling from the monarch, who has been open about ageing and his health since 2024, when it was revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The King is still believed to be undergoing cancer treatment, which was reduced this year<\/a> \u2013 a move that is said to be a good sign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Mail\u2019s royal editor, Rebecca English, once said<\/a>: \u201cCharles is a workaholic, who famously packs in ten to 12 engagements and meetings a day and spends many a night alone in his study, furiously writing letters and keeping up with his paperwork, well into the early hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
