The track doesn’t waste any time, opening with a bright, infectious guitar riff that quickly swells into a driving anthem as the rhythm section takes hold. The origins of the track are rooted in a bit of happy musical wandering. Lead guitarist and co-writer Simon Calder explains:\u00a0\u201cThe song originated from the main riff that was accidentally stumbled across on the guitar while listening to \u201cThis Is The One\u201d by the Stone Roses. I kept it around for months but it just stayed as a catchy motif. Everyone seemed to have a positive reaction to the riff so finally I began working on it with Tamzin to turn it into a song. The chorus melody is an example of balance where it has long, drawn out lines that juxtapose with the busier instrumentation. The song always felt like you\u2019re driving away from a moment in your past so Tamzin and I made sure the lyrics reflected that feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n
