The city also is ready for a return of the popular Porchfest musical celebration. There\u2019s more music, along with theater and other entertainment, planned in the Modesto and Mother Lode regions from May 16-22.<\/p>\n Outspoken comedian Adam Carolla, a podcast and radio host, is set to bring his stand-up show to the State Theatre. He became known for co-hosting an advice call-in radio show with Dr. Drew Pinsky that later became an MTV staple, \u201cLoveline.\u201d He went on to co-host Comedy Central\u2019s \u201cThe Man Show\u201d with Jimmy Kimmel, among other projects.
