Jane Lynch doesn\u2019t think Sue Sylvester would have changed much over the past 11 years.<\/p>\n
The actress played the William McKinley High School cheerleading coach on \u201cGlee\u201d for six seasons, and she has a pretty good idea of what the character would be up to if the show were still on today. \u201cI think Sue Sylvester would be the principal of the same school,\u201d Lynch revealed to PauseRewind\u2019s Sabra Satz-Kojis. \u201cAnd I think she would have probably destroyed the whole glee program and set her sights on something.\u201d<\/p>\n
She continued, \u201cThere\u2019s some group of kids that she\u2019s leading to national prominence for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
Given Sue\u2019s constant attempts throughout the show\u2019s run to end the glee club for good, Lynch\u2019s theory makes a lot of sense.<\/p>\n
Today, however, Lynch isn\u2019t playing a high school cheer coach. Instead, she\u2019s hosting “Celebrity Weakest Link,” a game show in which famous contestants answer trivia questions for increasing dollar amounts. At the end of each round, the celebrities vote off who they believe to be their \u201cweakest link.\u201d<\/p>\n
If Lynch were to compete on a game show, though, she\u2019s not sure she\u2019d choose the one she hosts. \u201cI love the \u2018Weakest Link,\u2019 but I don\u2019t know if I\u2019d be any good,\u201d she explained. Instead, she\u2019d want to go back on one of her favorite shows she\u2019s competed on multiple times: \u201c25 Words or Less.\u201d \u201cI do pretty well on that,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
As for whether fans will ever see Lynch on \u201cThe Traitors,\u201d following in the footsteps of actors like Michael Rapaport and Ron Funches? \u201cYou know, I don\u2019t know \u2018The Traitors\u2019 that well. I should look into it. I love Alan [Cumming] though,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
