It may soon be the summer of U2 as they gear up for their next album<\/a>, but first, a lead single has to come out. Bono, The Edge<\/a>, Adam Clayton<\/a>, and drummer Larry Mullen Jr.<\/a> were spotted in Mexico City shooting a music video, presumably for their new album’s lead single.<\/p>\n They gathered a large crowd in the streets of Mexico City for the shoot. The four band members stood on top of a stationary bus and performed a song that appears to be titled \u201cStreet of Dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n U2 posted a brief snippet of the song on their social media pages. It’s driven by Clayton’s bass, which is never something to complain about. There’s no doubt it’s a U2 song, given The Edge’s guitar playing, and the crowd was eating it up, clapping to the beat.<\/p>\n \u201cHopped a bus in Mexico City, destination: Street of Dreams,\u201d U2’s caption read. \u201c\u2018Justice an obsession, love is a procession down the street of dreams.’\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to the new song, U2 performed an acoustic set on someone’s balcony. The balcony rendition of \u201cAngel of Harlem\u201d also featured a snippet<\/a> of Van Morrison’s \u201cInto the Mystic,\u201d a favorite of Bono’s.<\/p>\n This is a busy year for U2. Their next album is presumably coming out later in the year, which happens to be when the band will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
