According to the artist, the song explores the idea that actions eventually return to those who commit them, framed through a light, narrative approach.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis song came to me in quite a comical way. I was playing guitar and just experimenting with different ideas. At the time, I was thinking a lot about karma and how the things we do always find their way back to us. I wanted to find a simple way to express that idea, and that\u2019s when the phrase came to me, that someone is crying, but only crying tiny tears,\u201d Mabandla said. \u201cEveryone has experienced some form of injustice, and this song acknowledges that feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Walila\u2019\u00a0will be the latest single ahead of the release of <em>Ndingubani<\/em>, which continues Mabandla\u2019s exploration of identity and introspection.<\/p>\n<p>To support the album, Mabandla will embark on a South African tour in May and June 2026, following a series of sold-out performances in Europe.
