Foo Fighters<\/a>\u00a0played intimate versions of new songs and classics in their first ever\u00a0Tiny Desk Concert\u00a0<\/i>\u2013 watch below.<\/p>\n

The band recently released their new album \u2018Your Favorite Toy<\/a>\u2019 and earlier today (Wednesday May 13), they dropped by the NPR offices to play their first ever stripped-down set at the Tiny Desk.<\/p>\n

They played two tracks from the new record \u2013 \u2018Spit Shine\u2019 and \u2018Child Actor\u2019,\u00a0the latter of which they recently played on\u00a0SNL UK<\/i><\/a>.\u00a0Dave Grohl<\/a>\u00a0made reference\u00a0to that appearance introducing the song, joking that he accidentally inhaled a lock of his hair during that performance, and celebrating at the end\u00a0of this one that he \u201cdidn\u2019t\u00a0choke\u201d.<\/p>\n

The band also dipped into their back calalogue to play \u2018Learn To Fly\u2019, \u2018My Hero\u2019 and \u2018Everlong\u2019, while Grohl also took a moment to mention two of his own favourite Tiny Desk Concerts<\/i>, by\u00a0Trouble\u00a0Funk and Juvenile<\/a>.<\/p>\n
