\u2018Late Night\u2019 host Stephen Colbert revealed the one thing he\u2019ll miss the most about his CBS show, which is slated for cancellation next week, during a special episode of the \u201cStrike Force Five\u201d<\/a> podcast with fellow late-night hosts Seth Meyers, John Oliver, Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI think one of the things I\u2019m going to miss most is young people who are good at their jobs,\u201d Colbert said. \u201d<\/span>And who you met, and they were first out of college or something like that. Like, I was talking to one of my producers the other day. He\u2019s worked for me for 21 years, and he started working for me when he was 21.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cUnbelievable,\u201d Meyers responded. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n CBS made the decision last year to cancel the long-running show after 11 seasons with Colbert at the helm, citing low ratings. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, many people suggested at the time the true reason for the show\u2019s cancellation was the host\u2019s political views<\/a>, as CBS\u2019s parent company, Paramount Global, is owned by David Ellison, a staunch ally of President Donald Trump<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI have had a great relationship with CBS. It\u2019s one of the reasons why this was so surprising and so shocking that there was no preamble to this,\u201d Colbert said following the network\u2019s announcement. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n As the show comes to a close, Colbert has stacked his last two weeks with a stellar lineup of guests, including former President Barack Obama<\/a>, actor Tom Hanks, \u201cHamilton\u201d star Christopher Jackson and former \u201cLate Night\u201d host David Letterman, just to name a few. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Watch the full episode of the \u201cStrike Force Five\u201d podcast here:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
