\t\t\t1<\/i><\/p>\n Brian Fallon will perform in Asbury Park, June 14.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Brian Fallon has released two new songs, \u201cNot Bad for New Jersey\u201d and \u201cBetter Before,\u201d and has scheduled a brief Not Bad for New Jersey Tour that will come to The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, June 14, as part of the North to Shore Festival.<\/p>\n Fallon will perform with his band The Painkillers, and Emily Wolfe will open. Tickets will go on sale May 15 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales starting May 14 at 10 a.m.; visit ticketmaster.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n Both songs have been released on Fallon\u2019s own Lesser Known Records label. They can be seen below, in videos featuring photos of Fallon in Asbury Park.<\/p>\n Fallon sings in \u201cNot Bad for New Jersey,\u201d \u201cI can\u2019t say I had a good time\/But after all this crazy, I think we did alright \u2026 On the shoreline, in the springtime\/I come back to life\/By the seaside, the little-dream-of-me side\/Where we never say die\/I think we did alright\/Not bad, not bad for Jersey.\u201d<\/p>\n Fallon said in a press release that the song \u201cis my way of celebrating what I do and where I\u2019m from. I wrote that song looking back on my life the way you do after almost ending up in a crash \u2013 like, \u2018How did I make it through that?\u2019 I really could\u2019ve busted myself open somewhere along the way, but somehow I\u2019m still here, and I\u2019m still in one piece.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to the four shows of the Not Bad for New Jersey Tour, Fallon has been added to the lineup of the June 4 \u201cMusic America: The Songs That Shaped Us \u2013 Celebrating 250 Years of American Music\u201d <\/a>concert at The OceanFirst Bank Center at Monmouth University in West Long Branch.
