Reginae Carter<\/a> has revealed the one time she says her dad, Lil Wayne<\/a>, said no to her.<\/p>\n During a new episode of 2 Chainz\u2019s Me & Halo podcast, Carter appeared with her mother, Toya Johnson, and spoke about her parents\u2019 different styles. Around 23 minutes into the conversation, she revealed that her punchline-loving father was the nicer of the two.<\/p>\n \u201cThe only thing that he\u2019s ever said no to is when I was 16 and was like, \u2018Daddy, can you get me a Bentley?\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201cHe said, \u2018Baby, I\u2019ll give you the world, but not a Bentley.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Despite his refusal, Carter reiterated that her father is very generous.<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cMy dad is really like, \u2018Whatever you need, baby,\u2019\u201d she followed up.<\/p>\n She then described Johnson not as a good cop or a bad cop, exactly.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s my favorite cop, I\u2019ll say that,\u201d Carter explained.<\/p>\n Check out the moment from 2 Chainz\u2019s podcast below.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, Carter spoke on her own podcast about another aspect of her father \u2014 his rap lyrics, and how they impacted her schooling.<\/p>\n In an episode of the Heir Time podcast that featured Nas\u2019 daughter, Destiny Jones, Carter revealed how her father\u2019s lyricism was the reason that she wasn\u2019t accepted into Atlanta private schools.<\/p>\n \u201cI went to Christian school almost my whole life,\u201d Carter said. \u201cA lot of the private schools I wanted to go to \u2014 I\u2019m not going to say the names \u2014 were blocking me because of what my dad was doing a lot of the time, because of the music he was making.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a lot of big schools in Atlanta, the biggest that rejected me,\u201d she added. \u201cThey rejected a lot of celebrity kids.\u201d<\/p>\n Carter then admitted that she kind of understood why she wasn\u2019t accepted. \u201cI get it, to a certain extent,\u201d she said. \u201cBut it\u2019s like, I\u2019m a kid and that don\u2019t got nothing to do with me.
