Sheinelle Jones<\/a> took a trip down memory lane while preparing for a major life update.<\/p>\n On the Thursday, May 14, episode of Today<\/a> With Jenna & Sheinelle, Jones revealed that she will soon be moving with her three kids<\/a>. \u201cSo, I\u2019m moving. The kids are going to a new school, so we\u2019re moving,\u201d she shared. \u201cAnd I have been going through boxes and boxes and boxes in our basement.\u201d<\/p>\n Jones did not specify where she and her family will be moving. It is possible she may join the likes of Dylan Dreyer<\/a> and former Today host Hoda Kotb<\/a> in moving<\/a> to the suburbs of New York City. Jones shares her three children \u2014 Kayin, Clara, and Uche \u2014 with her late husband, Uche Ojeh<\/a>, who died<\/a> at the age of 45 in May 2025 following a private battle with brain cancer.<\/p>\n \u201cThey say moving is one of the three most stressful [things]. But I think it\u2019s a good thing,\u201d Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> told Jones on the show. \u201cMy mom [Laura Bush<\/a>] said that to me once when I was moving, and I was so stressed. She said, \u2018It\u2019s one of life\u2019s most stressful things, so you know that. So then, you just lower your expectations. You know it\u2019s going to be tricky.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n After thanking Bush Hager for her words of wisdom, Jones revealed the sentimental item she discovered while sorting through old boxes in her basement with her babysitter. \u201cI found this old suitcase, and I unzipped it, and it was my wedding dress,\u201d she shared. \u201cAnd I remember everybody telling me that you\u2019re supposed to get them preserved, and I didn\u2019t. I remember, Uche and I took pictures all over the streets of Philadelphia, so the bottom of it is like [dirty]. It\u2019s like that from the bottom.\u201d<\/p>\n Sheinelle Jones video, ‘Today With Jenna & Sheinelle,’ NBC, May 14, 2026.<\/p>\n NBC<\/p>\n Snaps from Jones and Ojeh\u2019s wedding photo shoot appeared on screen as she shared her story. \u201cLook how beautiful it is,\u201d Bush Hager gushed.<\/p>\n Jones continued, \u201cSo now, obviously, I see it differently, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, my goodness. I never had it preserved. Do they do that? Is it too late?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Bush Hager, for her part, said she didn\u2019t have her own wedding dress preserved. Like Jones, she was unsure of its whereabouts until she went looking for it to throw a party for her seventh wedding anniversary. (Bush Hager and her husband, Henry Hager<\/a>, tied the knot in 2008.)<\/p>\n \u201cI said, \u2018Mom, where is my wedding dress?\u2019 She said, \u2018I have it,\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201cI said, \u2018OK. I want to try it on \u2018cause I want to do this party.\u2019 She was like, \u2018OK, sure. We can try it on.\u2019 It didn\u2019t fit.\u201d<\/p>\n Jones went on to detail more items she found while sorting through her boxes, including \u201cpictures from elementary school,\u201d \u201cClara\u2019s first sneaker,\u201d and more. Bush Hager poked fun at Jones for keeping unneeded items such as her kids\u2019 crib bumpers and VHS tapes.<\/p>\n \u201cI have an idea. I\u2019ll post it [on social media], and you guys can say keep or throw away,\u201d Jone suggested. Bush Hager replied, \u201cI\u2019ll also come over and get ruthless with you.\u201d<\/p>\n Jones accepted Bush Hager\u2019s proposal and agreed to provide ros\u00e9 for the occasion. \u201cRose and N-95s,\u201d she quipped.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/div>\n
