Five Finger Death Punch have officially entered a new chapter, dropping blistering new single \u201cEye Of The Storm\u201d as the first taste of their forthcoming 10th studio album.<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The track marks the band\u2019s first brand new material since their recent Best Of<\/em> releases and signals what guitarist and founder Zoltan Bathory describes as some of the heaviest music the band has created in years.<\/p>\n

Currently recording in Los Angeles, the multi platinum hard rock giants have spent the past three years crafting the follow up to their previous full length release, with a new album expected to land later this year.<\/p>\n

Excitement around the release had already been building after the band teased snippets of fresh material across social media following the announcement of their 2027 European dates, the latest run in their massive 2026 \u2013 2028 world tour.<\/p>\n

Now, with \u201cEye Of The Storm\u201d officially out in the world, it\u2019s clear Five Finger Death Punch<\/a><\/em><\/strong> are doubling down on intensity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new music has been turning out heavier than anything we\u2019ve done in years, with a cinematic undertone running beneath it,\u201d<\/em> Bathory said (per press release).<\/p>\n

He revealed the band worked through nearly 30 songs before narrowing the project down to roughly 14 or 15 tracks, even considering a double album at one stage, for Bathory the record represents both a return to the band\u2019s roots and a leap forward creatively.<\/p>\n
