Advertising and marketing are headed into a new era, and an example is the latest video from The
\nRolling Stones for the band’s latest single, “In the Stars.”<\/p>\n
The Rolling Stones collaborated with\u00a0Deep Voodoo, an artificial intelligence (AI) company founded by\u00a0South
\nPark<\/i>\u00a0creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The concept highlights no creative bounds and trends that are actively redefining commercial content creation, advertising and marketing. It’s a rare
\nlook at how Hollywood is using AI.<\/p>\n
While the making of the\u00a0video relied on real body doubles to act out the scenes on a physical set, Deep Voodoo overlayed AI-generated 1970s-era faces
\nof\u00a0Mick Jagger (now age 82) Keith Richards (also age 82) and\u00a0Ronnie Wood (age 78) on actors to turn back time.<\/p>\n
It did not, however, use an image of Charlie Watts, long time
\ndrummer who passed away in August 2021\u00a0at the age of 80 from squamous-cell carcinoma.<\/p>\n
As the band plays at a house party, they are surrounded by other musicians who also play along as
\npartygoers dance to the band\u2019s new single off their upcoming album, \u201cForeign Tongues.\u201d<\/p>\n
The music video was directed by Fran\u00e7ois Rousselet and co-stars
\nactress\u00a0Odessa A’zion, and it’s the lead single from\u00a0“In the Stars,” a track on the brand’s 25th studio album, “Foreign Tongues.”<\/p>\n
