The breakup comes months after the former Love Is Blind<\/em> stars shut down split rumors online<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Chelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah<\/a> announced they are ending their marriage after four years together.<\/p>\n \u201cLast week would have marked our fourth wedding anniversary,\u201d Griffin wrote<\/a> in a statement in a joint Instagram post on Thursday, May 15. \u201cOut of respect for the life we shared, I wanted to address this moment directly with the community that has supported us over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s heartbreaking to share that our marriage is coming to an end,\u201d she continued. \u201cThis is not the outcome I hoped for, and I entered this relationship with deep love, commitment, and the intention of building a lasting life together.\u201d<\/p>\n The reality star added that though she \u201cpoured\u201d her \u201cwhole heart\u201d into the marriage, it eventually became clear they were \u201cgrowing in different directions.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy mantra going forward is that I am strong, I am resilient, and there is still so much ahead of me,\u201d Griffin wrote. She also added, “While this chapter is deeply painful, I trust that healing and clarity will come with time.”<\/p>\n Appiah shared his own message in a separate slide, revealing the pair had reached the difficult decision after realizing their \u201cultimate life goals don\u2019t feel aligned.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cUnfortunately, we\u2019re taking this moment to announce that after 4 years together, we\u2019re going our separate ways,\u201d he wrote. \u201cThis isn\u2019t something either of us ever imagined, and it\u2019s been one of the hardest decisions to make.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe built a life filled with memories, laughter, and love that I\u2019ll always be grateful for,\u201d he continued. \u201cWe will always have respect and care for each other in everything we shared.\u201d<\/p>\n The breakup announcement comes after the couple previously addressed speculation surrounding the state of their marriage. In recent months, fans questioned whether Griffin and Appiah were still together after noticing they had not been posting as frequently on social media. The pair, on April 29, shut down the rumors<\/a> and insisted they were still happily married.<\/p>\n Griffin and Appiah met during season 4 of Love Is Blind<\/em>, which premiered in 2023.
