\n\tIceman SZN is finally here \u2014 and it\u2019s brought along not just one, but three<\/em> new albums from Drake.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Canadian rap superstar unleashed Iceman<\/em>, Habibti<\/em> and Maid of Honour<\/em> on Friday (May 15), his first three solo studio albums since 2023\u2019s For All the Dogs<\/em>, which helped set the stage for the following year\u2019s era-defining battle between Drizzy and Kendrick Lamar.<\/p>\n \n\tDrake has been teasing Iceman<\/em> for months with viral streams and singles such as \u201cWhat Did I Miss?\u201d and the Central Cee-assisted \u201cWhich One,\u201d but his highly anticipated album finally materialized on Friday, complete with guest appearances by Molly Santana, 21 Savage and Future. Yes, the same Future whose \u201cLike That\u201d single proved the catalyst for Lamar\u2019s barrage of Drake-eviscerating disses in 2024. Funnily enough, the Atlanta rapper appears on the aptly titled \u201cRan to Atlanta,\u201d another nod to that generational rap battle. Across Iceman<\/em>, which bears an album cover showcasing a bedazzled white glove throwing up the \u201c6.\u201d Drake pulls back the curtain on his last few years, taking disloyal friends to task (\u201cNational Treasures\u201d) and reflecting on his post-battle disposition (\u201cMake Them Cry\u201d).<\/p>\n \n\tAfter alluding to Michael Jackson on the Iceman<\/em> album cover, Drake pulled pictures from his family archives for Maid of Honour<\/em>. That album \u2014 which features appearances by Stunna Sandy, Sexyy Red, Central Cee, Popcaan and Iconic Savvy \u2014 finds Drake delivering 45 minutes of summer-ready bangers fit for the club, the journey there and even the car ride home. He and Sexyy nail what\u2019s sure to be a new strip club anthem with \u201cCheetah Print,\u201d while rising female rapper Stunna Sandy got an enviable look with snap-laden \u201cOutside Tweaking.\u201d From \u201cHoe Phase\u201d to the Popcaan-assisted \u201cAmazing Shape,\u201d Maid of Honour <\/em>is the new soundtrack for those who love being outside.<\/p>\n \n\tAnd then there was Habibti<\/em>.
