During the Netflix<\/a> roast of Kevin Hart<\/a>, comedian Katt Williams<\/a> showed up as a surprise guest and the pair publicly squashed their feud.<\/p>\n \u201cMe and this man have been at odds for years on years,\u201d said Hart, as seen in a clip from the roast below. \u201cYou coming out here, quite the f**kingsurprise. But, Katt, I can sit and I can watch you, I can laugh, because I\u2019m a f**kingfan first, okay? I\u2019m a fan first. Katt, we have an opportunity in real time, this is live television, to put our f**kingbeef behind us. I am offering you an olive branch of peace. I want to be a brother, I want to be a friend. Katt, I want to move on. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n Despite squashing their beef during the roast, that doesn\u2019t mean that Williams held back when it came to his turn to roast Hart.<\/p>\n \u201cJust because Kevin went to Diddy parties does not mean he did something wrong,\u201d said Williams. \u201cThe fact that he gets all quiet when you bring it up, that means he did something wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n During another moment, he joked that he was \u201csurprised\u201d he was invited to the roast, considering their history, and described himself as one of Hart\u2019s \u201cenemies.\u201d<\/p>\n After the moment, Hart also jokingly reignited the beef.<\/p>\n \u201cEverybody has said tonight that I can\u2019t act,\u201d said Hart, as seen in the clip below. \u201c\u2018Kevin cannot act.\u2019 What I want you to do is go back and look at that moment where I shook Katt\u2019s hand, and I looked him in the eye, and I said, \u2018I just want us to be friends.\u2019 Some of the best f**kingacting that I\u2019ve ever did in my career. I did not mean one word of what I said. f**k Katt Williams! f**k Katt Williams!\u201d<\/p>\n Williams and Hart have had a rocky relationship<\/a> since at least 2016, when Williams referred to Hart as a \u201cpuppet\u201d and challenged him to a standoff-style comedy show. He later apologized for his comments, but Hart said he was frustrated with Williams in 2018 after he dissed his Night School<\/em> co-star, Tiffany Haddish. Williams tore into Hart <\/a>in his infamous Club Shay Shay<\/em> interview in 2024, but he said they were able to work out their issues sometime last year.<\/p>\n \u201cMe and Katt, there was always a little ruffle in the water for quite some time, but picking up the phone does a lot,\u201d he said during an episode of 7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony<\/em> last year, per the Source<\/a>. \u201cHaving direct conversations and removing the middlemen does a lot. As we got older, we got better at it.
