Following the premiere of the emotionally charged hand-drawn animated feature <em>Tangles<\/em>, an intimate yet star-studded celebration unfolded at Lucia Cannes on May 14, bringing together filmmakers, actors, producers, and tastemakers for one of the festival\u2019s most vibrant gatherings. I was lucky enough to also attend!<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The after party had the entire (and impressive!) cast in attendance, including: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Abbi Jacobson, Seth Rogen, Samira Wiley, and Sugar Lyn Beard alongside first-time director Leah Nelson, writer Sarah Leavitt, and producers from Monarch Media, LYLAS Pictures, Point Grey Pictures, and Giant Ant. The restaurant\u2019s maximalist interiors, filled with warm Mediterranean colors, lush textures, and playful design details, provided the perfect backdrop for a celebration centered around storytelling. Corporate Executive Chef Alessandro Pizza curated a menu of passed bites that captured the spirit of Mediterranean indulgence, including sun-roasted vegetable brioche, falafel with tahini sauce, crispy chicken bites, creamy cacio e pepe (served out of parmesan wheels!), and delicate strawberry tartlets. The group has hosted renowned festival pop-ups since 2002, becoming synonymous with the city\u2019s blend of luxury, nightlife, and international culture. The opening of Lucia Cannes in March 2024 represented the company\u2019s first entirely new brand concept outside of their namesake Nikki Beaches.
