Back in February, south London\u2019s very own RAYE<\/strong>\u00a0kicked off one of the capital\u2019s biggest music residencies of the year. The former Time Out cover star<\/a> played a whopping four dates at the O2 Arena in Greenwich across the end of February and start of March \u2013 but she\u2019s not done yet. RAYE will finish her residency this week, with two more shows in southeast London<\/p>\n Since the This Tour May Contain New Music Tour<\/a> was announced back in September, RAYE has released her sophomore album This Music May Contain Hope<\/em>. The record,\u00a0which\u00a0was\u00a0previewed with last year\u2019s hit single \u2018Where Is My Husband!\u2019,\u00a0was released at the end of the March to rave reviews.<\/p>\n Heading to see RAYE at the O2 this week? \n<\/ul>\n For\u00a0both shows, doors open at 6.30pm.\u00a0As always, you\u2019ll be able to get into the venue (but not the arena) earlier, with all its shops, restaurants, bars etc.<\/p>\n Previous tour dates have seen RAYE take to the stage at around 8.30-8.40pm. Expect similar timings at the London shows.<\/p>\n RAYE\u2019s younger sisters ABSOLUTELY and AMMA are on support.<\/p>\n A few last-minute tickets are available on various websites. A five-star\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>review said that the first London date was \u2018an arena show which effortlessly segues between the bold and the intimate, and allows RAYE to establish herself as a performer who can, you sense, do whatever the hell she wants\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n A four-star Guardian<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>review of an earlier tour date in Manchester said: \u2018While the show is big, bold and emphatic, it\u2019s also intimate,\u2019 adding that a \u2018knockout version\u2019 of \u2018Escapism.\u2019 as a finale \u2018very much [established]\u00a0her dramatic era\u2019.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Time Out\u2019s Things to Do Editor, Rosie Hewitson, went to RAYE\u2019s second night in London, and similarly raved: \u2018It\u2019s rare for a performer\u2019s charisma to come across so effectively in a venue this big.
