\u00a0A celebration of art and local history was held in the Souderton-Telford area Saturday, May 16 with the \u201cArt in Sacred Spaces\u201d tour.<\/p>\n

Presented by the Souderton-Telford Historical Society, the event offered guests a self-guided tour of community treasures and historical artifacts at six local churches. Participating Souderton churches included St. Phillips Orthodox Church, Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Zwingli UCC and Zion Mennonite Church. Trinity UCC and St. Paul\u2019s Lutheran in Telford also participated.<\/p>\n

Throughout the tour, guides were on hand to direct guests\u2019 attention to artistic and historical features. Some locations also provided light refreshments and special music.<\/p>\n
