Blondshell<\/a>, the solo alt-pop project of Sabrina Teitelbaum, is teasing her follow-up to last year\u2019s If You Asked for a Picture<\/em><\/a>. While the album hasn\u2019t been announced yet, she\u2019s previewing it with the new song \u201cHeart Has to Work So Hard,\u201d which you can listen to below.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis song is really about friendship and betrayal, getting stuck in a dynamic and letting things fester,\u201d Teitelbaum explained in a statement. \u201cIt\u2019s about pain and confusion \u2014 no one trains you for the ups and downs of a friendship between two women \u2014 but it\u2019s also about a love so enduring that you find compassion no matter what.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blondshell has also mapped out a fall tour that boasts the biggest headlining dates of her career. After live sets at Bonnaroo<\/a> and Summerfest, she will head out across North America and Europe for her own run. It starts in San Diego on October 16 and wraps up in Dublin on December 17, with Bully, Prewn, Starcleaner Reunion, TTSSFU, NoSo, and Theatre opening select shows.
