Chris Brown<\/a> has scored his 13th top ten album with his latest effort, Brown<\/em>.<\/p>\n As reported by Billboard<\/a>, the 27-track album (which runs 92-minutes long) has debuted at the No. 7 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album garnered 65,00 equivalent album units within its first week of availability, of which 60,000 were from 60.31 million on-demand streams of individual tracks. Last week, Hits Daily Double<\/a> reported that the record was projected to land at No. 5 with 70,000 equivalent album units.<\/p>\n Noah Kahan\u2019s The Great Divide<\/em> clung on to its No. 1 spot for the third consecutive week, while Ella Langley\u2019s Dandelion<\/em> also refused to budge with its second week at No. 2. K-pop boyband CORTIS scored their first-ever top 10 record with GREENGREEN<\/em> at No. 3, and Morgan Wallen\u2019s I\u2019m the Problem<\/em> also stuck around at No. 4. Following the release of the Michael Jackson biopic last month, the late popstar placed at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots with Thriller<\/em> and Number Ones<\/em>, respectively.<\/p>\n Brown<\/em> debuted to an enthusiastic response from fans earlier this month, but it\u2019s so far failed to break containment from his dedicated fanbase. There hasn\u2019t been a glowing critical reception to the record, either, with Pitchfork<\/em> critic Alphonse calling the album \u201ca real piece of shit\u201d in a brutal takedown, ultimately rewarding it with a low rating of just 1.3 out of 10. The review was subsequently hit with backlash from Brown\u2019s fanbase, as well as fellow R&B artist Tank<\/a>.<\/p>\n
