Are you ready, islanders? New bombshells will be entering the villa in just a couple of weeks. “Love Island USA” is back<\/a> with its eighth season this summer!<\/p>\n\n

If you’ve never seen “Love Island,” here’s how it works: A group of single men and women, called \u201cislanders,\u201d couple up from week to week and live in a big villa together all summer.<\/p>\n

Some stay with the same person the entire time; others fall for new arrivals, known as “bombshells.” In the first episode of each season, each of the women in the villa chooses a man to couple up with, based only on a brief first impression.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Viewers watch the islanders spend their days lounging by the pool, talking amongst themselves and sometimes participating in challenges that can win them opportunities for alone time with the person they\u2019re coupled up with.<\/p>\n\n

Viewers vote for their favorite couples and contestants, which translates to real consequences and “recouplings” in the villa. At the end of the season, the viewer-chosen favorite couple has the chance to split a cash prize.<\/p>\n

Is there going to be a ‘Love Island USA’ in 2026?<\/h2>\n

Yes! The eighth season of “Love Island USA” will premiere in about two weeks, on June 2 at 9 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

After the premiere, new episodes of “Love Island USA” will drop daily throughout premiere week. Following premiere week, new episodes will drop daily, except on Wednesdays.<\/p>\n

“Love Island Aftersun” episodes, which is the show’s companion talk show, will air on Saturdays.<\/p>\n

Has the ‘Love Island USA’ cast been revealed?<\/h2>\n

Not yet. Historically, the islanders are not revealed until closer to the premiere date.<\/p>\n

For example, last year’s season 7 cast was announced on May 29, ahead of the June 3 premiere.<\/p>\n\n

Who hosts ‘Love Island USA’? Floridian fan-favorite Ariana Madix is back<\/h2>\n

Floridian, content creator Tefi to co-host ‘Love Island Aftersun’<\/h2>\n

On May 11, Peacock announced that Floridian influencer and red carpet host Tefi Pessoa will co-host “Love Island Aftersun” with “Summer House” star Ciara Miller.<\/p>\n

Pessoa, 35, is a Floridian content creator, TikTok star, podcaster and red carpet host who exploded to internet fame in 2020 after posting a series of pop culture-centered videos, including multiple video series explaining the most talked-about celebrity relationships of the early 2000s.<\/p>\n\n

Pessoa was born and raised in Miami and often talks about her childhood in Florida in her short-form content on TikTok and Instagram. Over years of posting content online, she became known to many fans as their “internet big sister” and now frequently hosts red carpets at various awards shows and ceremonies for outlets like ELLE, The Cut, InStyle and more.<\/p>\n

She also has an advice column with The Cut titled “Ask Tefi,” and a podcast with Vox Media titled “Tefi Talks,” in which she talks about pop culture, celebrity news and more.<\/p>\n\n
