The opening of the Lost Screen Memorial, which took place in Geneva<\/a>, featured an installation of 50 illuminated lightboxes, each displaying the mobile phone lockscreen image of a child who lost their life because of online violence and digital harm. It was hosted by the WHO and Archewell Philanthropies, the charitable foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, ahead of the 79th World Health Assembly<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It was also run in partnership with The Parents\u2019 Network, a community of bereaved families advocating for safer online spaces for children and young people.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meghan looked chic in an all-black ensemble, consisting of a black blazer, a black top and a pair of wide-leg trousers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Her hair was styled in a low bun, while her make-up featured a smoky eye.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But some fans were not impressed with how wide her trousers were and took to social media to criticise her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One user wrote on X: \u201cThese pants are REEEDICULOUS. Is #MeghanMarkle has got to be trolling or joking because they\u2019re awful.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A fourth one opined: \u201cShe suits slim trousers. I was thinking she looked OK for once then clocked the bottoms.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A fifth one then commented: \u201cShe looks ridiculous. Has she ever heard of a hem?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A sixth one wrote: \u201cWide-legged pants look ok on very tall people because the pant leg has enough length to gradually flare out. They look ridiculous on her. \u201c<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Sunday, the Duchess urged global health leaders to act to keep children safe online, adding they are being shaped by systems \u201cdesigned to capture attention at any cost\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meghan described children\u2019s online safety as a \u201cpublic health issue\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She said: \u201cChildren today are being shaped by systems designed to capture attention at any cost: relentless algorithms, exploitative engagement, and endless exposure to harmful content that they are not seeking out.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
