\n\tJapanese trio Number_i<\/a> has officially found a U.S. label. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe J-pop<\/a> act, comprising members Sho Hirano, Yuta Jinguji and Yuta Kishi, have signed with Atlantic Records<\/a>, the label announced Monday morning. The group recently visited the label\u2019s L.A. offices and have begun working on new music<\/a> in the U.S. that\u2019s set to be released later in the year, according to a release. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019re excited to announce that we\u2019ve signed with Atlantic Records in the U.S. We\u2019re really looking forward to expanding our sound and reach with the team,\u201d the group said in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019ll continue working hard to bring our music to as many people as possible, and we truly appreciate your continued support.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe news of the Atlantic signing comes on the heels of Number_i\u2019s signing with WME for global representation in all areas. The trio, which debuted in 2024, have exploded in popularity in Japan since forming as a trio.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2024, the group joined the management company and music label 88Rising\u2019s Futures stage lineup at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. It was their first U.S. performance and first major music festival as Number_i. Since that performance, Number_i has begun wading more heavily into the U.S. market.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, the three-member group performed their first featured festival set in the U.S. at 88Rising\u2019s Head in the Clouds Festival at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The performance came on the heels of their album\u00a0God_i<\/em>, featuring a lead single of the same name. Kishi produced the track, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Japan\u2019s Hot 100 chart. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe group has found immense domestic success, earning several No. 1 hits on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart. Their first full-length album, No. I<\/em> hit No. 1 on the Billboard Japan JP Albums chart and No. 4 on Spotify\u2019s Top Albums Debut Global chart. Their global reach has continued to grow alongside the group.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe believe that music goes beyond borders, of course, and good music, good anything, can be understood and shared by people across the world,\u201d member Hirano told THR<\/em> in an interview<\/a> last year. \u201cWe just make good music, whatever we believe in and whatever we are happy with, and we\u2019d like to spread that to more and more people.\u201d<\/p>\n
