\u201cDaily Show<\/a>\u201d host Jon Stewart<\/a> was briefly stunned into silence on Monday night over an observation President Donald Trump<\/a> made after meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIf you went to Hollywood and you looked for a leader of China, you couldn\u2019t find a guy like him,\u201d Trump said. \u201cHe\u2019s tall, very tall. Especially for this country, \u2019cause they tend to be a little bit shorter<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It took Stewart 15 seconds to respond.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhat the fuck are you talking about?\u201d he finally asked. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Stewart said it might be \u201cas good as we can expect\u201d from Trump, given his history, and wondered if the president was ready to comment on the Chinese leader\u2019s eyes while he was at it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cYou might be watching this and wondering: How the fuck is this guy our president?!?\u201d Stewart asked. \u201cHow? How is this possible? He should not have this job. And yet… he does.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n But as Stewart pointed out, there\u2019s another way to deal with this situation. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cMaybe it\u2019s time to stop being exasperated by this, by Trump,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd maybe it\u2019s time to see if we can glean lessons from Trump\u2019s rise.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n And with that, he turned Trump\u2019s career trajectory into mock lessons for recent college grads who are looking for a job. Honesty and hard work are out the window. Instead, Stewart sarcastically noted, grads could follow the president\u2019s lead and be \u201ccocky and super fucking weird\u201d as they lie during job interviews and even insult their questioners.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know why this works. I don\u2019t fucking get it. I don\u2019t,\u201d he said. \u201cBut here we are \u2013 and here he is. And he\u2019s the president, and I\u2019m on basic cable.
