A source has claimed the removal of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding photograph, which was once prominently displayed at King Charles’ Highgrove home, would have been a deliberate decision.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Several weeks ago, sharp-eyed royal fans noticed a wedding photograph of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex<\/a>, which had previously been showcased on a small wooden table at Highgrove, had disappeared from its usual spot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The absence was noticed when royal photographer Chris Jackson, who hosted an event at the estate, captured an image of the table where the wedding photograph had once been. The photo revealed that only two pictures remained on display: one showing Prince Harry<\/a> standing side by side with his brother Prince William and his father, King Charles, and another featuring King Charles’ grandson, Prince Louis.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The wedding photograph was conspicuously absent, despite having been on the table in 2024 alongside a photograph of King Charles and Queen Camilla on their Coronation day. The image of the King with his two sons was also present at that time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Although it is plausible that the wedding photograph has simply been relocated, along with the Coronation picture, a former royal household staff member indicated the removal of the picture from this particular spot would have been intentional.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is due to the strict protocol that prohibits staff from rearranging items without the King’s explicit approval, regardless of their seniority, reports the Express<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The revelation came from Grant Harrold, who served as royal butler to King Charles from 2004 until 2011. This occurred before King Charles ascended to the throne.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking on The Royals Uncensored podcast, Grant said, “The only person that can move pictures or move things round is the King himself. So it has to be the King’s decision.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He then said it was likely a “deliberate” move.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The reason for the photograph’s relocation or its new position remains unclear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nevertheless, this isn’t the only photograph which was moved from the table, as the Coronation photograph also seems to have been repositioned elsewhere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
