When it came time for the ceremony to begin, a wedding string quartet based out of London played Your Song<\/em> by Elton John \u2014 which is also the song James proposed to Taylor to. The quartet then switched to play At Last<\/em> by Etta James while the bride and groom walked down the aisle.<\/p>\nDuring the ceremony, Taylor and James exchanged personal vows while their former theatre professor from Chapman University, Michael Nehring, officiated. “I wanted something simple and chic that still felt like me, and something I could change up with chic accessories throughout the night,” she explains.<\/p>\n
Instead of a wedding party, Taylor and James enlisted their nieces and nephews to be honorary bridesmaids and groomsmen. They also tapped their siblings to give dual speeches in place of a maid of honor and best man.<\/p>\n
