These days, it\u2019s all about the Courtney Love<\/a> stamp of approval.<\/p>\n Courtney Love has always been a rather, shall we say, opinionated<\/em> individual \u2014 Taylor Swift<\/a>, Madonna<\/a>, Lana Del Rey<\/a>, Bikini Kill<\/a>, Trent Reznor<\/a>, and Gwen Stefani<\/a> have all caught strays in the past \u2014 but recently, she\u2019s been spending less time shading the artists she deems \u201cnot important<\/a>,\u201d and more time embracing the ones she loves. Just within the last week, the 61-year-old shared a snippet of hyperpop alt-rocker Snow Wife\u2019s new single on Instagram, writing, \u201cToo good. I had to repost. @itssnowwife<\/a>. F*ck.!!\u201d<\/p>\n A few days prior, the Hole frontwoman seemingly came to Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s<\/a> defense in the wake of babydoll-dress-gate<\/a> with a series of Reel reposts on her IG story. In one video, a woman shields her eyes as the text reads, \u201cMe in my babydoll dress and bloomers watching Olivia Rodrigo get cooked by angry Twitter users.\u201d In another, a creator writes, \u201cYou can pry my babydoll dress from my cold dead hands\u201d while posing in the garment.<\/p>\n Historically, Love hasn\u2019t always been very keen on Rodrigo \u2014 in 2021, the alt-rocker accused a then-18-year-old Rodrigo for copying Hole\u2019s 1994 Live Through This<\/em> album cover<\/a> \u2014 but her willingness to weigh in on the (frankly asinine) matter means we could very well get a proper endorsement once Rodrigo\u2019s album<\/a> drops next month.<\/p>\n Love\u2019s most recent co-sign was given out during a recent episode of the Interior Motives podcast<\/a>, on which Love was a guest. In the episode, host Ben Mora, Love, and fellow guest Ivy Wolk<\/a> discussed Charli xcx\u2019s<\/a> latest single \u201cRock Music<\/a>,\u201d and Love was more than supportive of the Brit\u2019s rockist turn. \u201cPlease, that\u2019s the greatest song I\u2019ve ever heard,\u201d says Love. \u201cCharli\u2019s such a f*cking troll, like stop pretending. Just play some rock music for God\u2019s sake!\u201d<\/p>\n The Love-love doesn\u2019t end there. Earlier this year, the \u201cCelebrity Skin\u201d singer applauded Slayyyter\u2019s<\/a> \u201cYES GODDD<\/a>\u201d on Instagram<\/a> (a prime source for her most glowing endorsements) and covered Geese\u2019s \u201cAu Pays du Cocaine<\/a>\u201d after previously describing herself as \u201cGeese-curious<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n Sure, it\u2019s not nearly as hard to get a co-sign from Courtney Love as it once was, but trust: she\u2019s not handing out endorsements to just anyone. That being said, If Love hasn\u2019t administered a stamp of approval to your fave yet, don\u2019t worry \u2014 she could always come around.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
